The palm smacks the forehead as I drive down the street from my house. Forgot my ever present camera and I'm going out to do some geocaching. Can't be bothered turning around so, Murphy's Law sets it.
I climbed a cliff to find a geocache and had a beautiful PHOTOGENIC shot of a valley spread before me. Oh well, a lost opportunity. Then a nice walk through a nature area looking for another cache. Stop on the trail and before me, with a nice clear view, two deer and a fawn, all standing there and watching. The fawn pranced around a bit and we had quite the show. My forehead is now getting sore from the smacking.
Then we stopped for a lovely hamburger and chips, with a thick milkshake at Hutch's on the beach (www.hutchsonthebeach.com). The hamburger was worth a photo at least.
Then, while driving along enjoying the sights, what do I see in Bronte Harbour? A tall ship, docked, motionless, ready for a photo. I'm now getting a headache from the smacking.
To top off this lovely clear warm day with a slight breeze, we pass the old fuel dock and behold, a salty coming in with a load of fuel. Ship, tugboat, clear blue water, blue sky with fluffy clouds - you get the picture - while I didn't. I'm looking for a pole to smack my head with.
Moral of the story - if you forget your camera and don't go back to get it - you will have one of the best days to take photos.
Please take a moment to dwell on my picture of absolutely nothing and picture some nice scenes into it. My contribution to exercising your imagination. 8-)
